Welcome to The Boardwalk, a family-owned small business along the St. Joseph River, run by Matt and Kathryn.

Many years ago they met in Grand Rapids and had their own wedding in Petoskey along the shores of Lake Michigan. They’ve lived on the West Coast and traveled around the world, but nothing beats a summer in West Michigan.

In 2020 they came upon the opportunity to develop this secluded paradise into a wedding and event venue. After years of construction, renovation, and landscaping, The Boardwalk opened in July of 2022 for tours and booking.
